This video was a funny one! This is how poll taxes were advertised, with a sweet old lady, presumably talking to an invisible elf, reading off a newspaper advert for the same thing. They didn't even try to convince the working-classes that it was for their own good - "trickle-down economics" being an American invention - nor did they aim at anyone other than the softest of targets: easily confused elderly people.
